Dr. Beeler
Dentist

Dr. Beeler was raised in Memphis, TN. He attended college at University of Memphis where he studied Biology and earned his bachelor’s degree. He earned his D.D.S. at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

He was commissioned as an officer in the US Navy upon graduation from dental school and his first duty station was at Great Lakes, IL where he successfully completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.

Dr. Beeler then received a new assignment to serve as the dental department head and sole dentist on the USS NEW YORK, stationed in Norfolk, VA. During his time on the NEW YORK, Dr. Beeler received several awards and led the dental department during the ship’s maiden deployment. He concluded his time in the Navy in the largest Navy dental clinic where he provided comprehensive dental care to all branches of military service and worked shoulder to shoulder with every dental specialist.

He then resigned his commission as a dental officer and moved home to Tennessee with his wife and their four children to pursue his dream of opening his own practice. That dream became a reality in November of 2015 when Town Creek Family Dentistry began accepting new patients. Since that time the practice has grown tremendously, and Dr. Beeler has become very busy seeing patients and has a large team supporting him.

Dr. Beeler is very passionate about dentistry and vigorously continues to expand his knowledge about current procedures and is always adding more. He completed his training with the Midwest Implant institute in Columbus, OH in August of 2017. This training has built his confidence and experience in placing dental implants and restoring complex cases of missing teeth. He also has attended courses focused on the restoration of full mouth treatment and cosmetic dentistry that has provided a firm foundation for treatment plans involving veneers and complex full mouth restorations. Dr. Beeler is also certified to provide IV sedation to our patients with high dental anxiety. He has recently embarked on a curriculum at the Spear Dental Seminars. He feels that it is his responsibility to be at the top of his profession and to provide the most up to date treatment to our patients.

Dr. Beeler is a very busy husband and father of 4 beautiful children and most days feels like he is just trying to keep up. When he has free time he likes to spend it relaxing with family, or even better – with his family on the lake.

Dr. Phelps
Dentist

Dr. Phelps grew up outside of Atlanta, GA and attended Georgia Southern University for his undergraduate studies. At Georgia Southern he received a Bachelor of Science in biology and met his wife, Brandi. 

After undergrad, Dr. Phelps and his wife relocated to Augusta Georgia where he received his Doctor of Medicine (DMD) in dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia. Dr. Phelps’ passion for dentistry fueled his desire to seek additional education beyond his formal dental school instruction. After finishing dental school, he transitioned into a general practice residency through Sacred Heart Meical Center located in Spokane, WA for advanced training. While in residency Dr. Phelps held full dental surgical privileges at the hospital, allowing him to provide dental care in the hospital operating room. Throughout his residency training, Dr. Phelps routinely treated patients with severe dental anxiety, mental or physical disabilities, or medical complexities that make treatment in a standard office setting impossible.  He worked in conjunction with other members of the healthcare team to manage complicating factors to dental treatment, such as those associated with oncology patients, patients with underlying cardiovascular disease, and patients planned for major cardiothoracic surgery.

After finishing residency, Dr. Phelps and his wife wanted to move back south to be closer to friends and family. They chose Lenoir City due to its proximity to family as well as the mountains. Away from the dental practice you can find him enjoying nature through camping, hiking, or rock climbing. 

Dr. Phelps’ personal mission is to provide compassionate, high quality, and patient centered comprehensive care to all his patients no matter the circumstance. 

Dr. Barbara Hernandez
Dentist

Dr. Hernandez was born and raised Venezuela. From a young age she had an interest in health sciences which led her to study and earn her degree in dentistry at the Central University of Venezuela. She emigrated to Knoxville, became a certified dental assistant, and then went on to earn her doctorate of dental surgery from the University of California Los Angeles. She is excited to be back here in Tennessee so she can enjoy hiking, spending time with her family, and going to the movies.

Jessie (Yesenia)
Admin Team

Jessie is one of our patient coordinators, treatment consultant, and insurance guru. She plays a vital role in scheduling along with insurance verification and processing. Before joining TCFD, Jessie ran her father’s construction company. After his passing, she wanted to work in a different field and she transitioned beautifully into a career in dentistry. We are so fortunate to have her in the TCFD family. Jessie was born in Miami but raised in Tennessee. A native Spanish-speaker, she is one of our Spanish interpreters. In her free time, Jessie volunteers for an educational program helping those in the Spanish community. She loves spending time with her family, her dog, Bruce, and traveling.

Donna
Office Manager

Donna began her dental career as an office manager in 2002 and joined the TCFD team as an office manager in 2020. Prior to embarking on a dental career, she and her husband built and ran Knoxville’s 1st indoor soccer facility. She also has a diamontology certification but quickly found that dentistry is her passion. She especially loves helping patients understand their treatment needs and seeing the amazing smile transformations. She is very excited about dentistry and can often be heard throughout the practice sharing her enthusiasm with our team and our patients! In her free time, she and her husband love spending time with their 4 children, 10 grandchildren and can always be found somewhere on a soccer field!

Kristy
Admin Team

Kristy was born and raised in Memphis. She and her family moved to Knoxville in 2021 and love it!

Kristy has been in dentistry on and off since 1996 as a Dental Assistant. When she joined the TCFD family she decided to use her dental knowledge at the front desk!

She has been married to her husband Chad since 1993! They have 4 children and a beautiful granddaughter that she absolutely adores!!

In her free time, she loves spending time with family, which includes her brother-in-law Dr. Beeler and his family, on the lake, going to dinner, watching movies and just enjoying family time.

Kim
Admin Team

Kim was born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico. She is a Healthcare professional with multiple years of experience in the industry. She is a native Spanish speaker and is certified as a Medical Interpreter.

Throughout a successful career in healthcare, Kim has worn many hats. From working as a nurse to managing teams, always with a strong commitment to patient care and leadership.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, puppy Suki and family. She loves to travel, go on road trips, dance and enjoy the outdoors.

Marianne
Admin Team

Marianne was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but raised in Northern Utah. She met and married her husband, Todd, in 1994. They moved their family to Knoxville in 2002 and have 7 children including 2 sets of twins! They currently have 9 grandchildren.

Marianne started her dentistry career in 2018. Prior to her dental career, she managed her neighborhood summer swim team for 10+ years. In her spare time, she loves quilting, reading a good book and spending time with her family.

Debbie
Hygienist

Debbie was born in California but raised in Loudon, TN. She is a registered Dental Hygienist and graduated from Roane State Community College. She has been in dentistry for more than 30 years, starting as a registered Dental Assistant. Debbie feels blessed to be a part of the Town Creek Family Dentistry team, and we are so blessed to have her. She is extremely knowledgeable and is a huge asset to the team. Debbie is truly caring; she loves building relationships with her patients and caring for their needs and concerns. She feels lucky that some of her past patients have found her at TCFD. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Ray, since 2007. They enjoy plays, concerts, camping and bowling together. Her family also includes one daughter and one grandson that she loves to spoil.

Summer
Hygienist

Summer is so grateful to be a member of the TCFD family. She has been a hygienist since 2011 after she graduated from the dental hygiene program at East Tennessee State University. She has been complimented by patients on her gentle touch and thoroughness. Summer stays up to date on the ever-evolving profession of Dentistry by taking quality continuing education. You can usually find her singing, dancing, and laughing as much as possible while working at TCFD.
Summer and her husband have four wonderful kids and three fur babies. She loves traveling and is passionate about live music of all kinds. Originally from Texas, she relocated to Loudon, Tennessee with her family as a child. She loves living near the mountains because she enjoys spending her time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and swimming. Being social and outgoing is one of Summer’s favorite qualities so getting to know patients and maintaining relationships is her favorite part of being a hygienist and part of TCFD.

Alexis
Hygienist

Alexis is originally from California but grew up in South Carolina. She graduated from Horry Georgetown Technical College in 2011 and has been practicing dental hygiene ever since. Alexis is enthusiastic about continuing education. She has achieved many additional certifications including Periodontal laser supported therapy and a comprehensive approach for every patient. She doesn’t just “clean” teeth. She looks at all aspects of oral health: bite, wear, old restorations, grinding/clenching, and sleep just to name a few. In a word, ‘passionate’ is what Alexis is and she tailors every experience for every unique patient that sits in her chair.There was a quote that Alexis saw while she was in hygiene school. It said; “Take this job and love it!” and she has done just that. She absolutely loves what she does and is very passionate about patient education. She likes to have a good time with her patients and you will usually hear laughter coming out her operatory.
In Alexis’ free time she loves to spend time with her family, friends, dance and you can usually find her nose in a book.

Alli
Hygienist

Alli is originally from Florida but was raised in Decatur, TN. She has been practicing Dental Hygiene since 2017 after graduating from Hiawassee College with her Bachelor of Science degree. Alli has found her passion in educating patients about their oral health and keeping them feeling confident in their smile. Alli and her husband have a son and 2 dogs. They love taking road trips and vacationing to the beach. In their free time you will most likely catch them on the golf course!

Jaimee
Hygienist

Jaimee came to Town Creek Family Dentistry first as a patient and then a hygienist. She brought over 19 years of hygiene experience to the practice when she joined us in 2022. 

 “Growing up, I spent quite a bit of time in the dental chair, but instead of it being a negative experience, it was a really great experience. The dentist was very personable and fun and I looked forward to visiting his office. In high school I job shadowed one of his hygienists and decided that was the career for me!”  

Jaimee feels the most important aspect of her job is patient education. “An educated patient will stick with healthy habits for a lifetime.”

 Jaimee, along with her husband and four kids moved from Washington State in 2021 because they love how beautiful it is here. In their spare time, they love hiking.

Jessica (JJ)
Dental Assistant

Jessica aka JJ started her dental career in 2003. She began her career with a predominantly denture practice where she gained a lot of experience in extractions and removable dentures. She then moved to restorative dentistry and very quickly gained knowledge in all aspects of dentistry including orthodontics. Since joining Town Creek Family Dentistry in 2020, JJ took a course in custom stain and glaze for cosmetic crown and bridge and an extensive course in sedation dentistry which allows her to assist Dr. Beeler with our sedation patients. She loves cosmetic dentistry and especially the results she sees with full mouth reconstruction dentistry. If JJ is not treating patients, she can be found in our lab adding the final “Picasso” touches to crowns and bridges. JJ’s husband, Dave, is a Certified Dental Technician and they love spending their free time with their two furry babies. 

Abby
Dental Assistant

Abby joined Town Creek Family Dentistry in 2022 and is from Lenoir City, TN. Abby graduated from Pellissippi State and from Dental Assisting School in 2021. Abby loves being an RDA because of the awesome patients and the team she works with. Abby stays current with continuing education and loves learning new things.

Maria
Dental Assistant

Maria has lived in Tennessee since 2007. She graduated from TCAT Dental Assisting Program in 2022. In 2023, Maria joined TCFD where she finds great satisfaction in her work and has an eagerness to expand her knowledge in dentistry. Maria enjoys ensuring our patients receive the best of care.

As one of the Spanish translators, Maria is happy to help others so that language will never be a barrier to obtain good dental care.

During her free time, she enjoys dancing or relaxing with her husband while cooking, watching new movies or attending concerts.

Reese
Dental Assistant

Reese joined the TCFD team in 2023 after completing her dental assistant education. She grew up in Knoxville and loves the mountains. She loves doing anything outdoors, including hiking, spending time on the lake, or playing soccer. When she’s not at work, Reese is enjoying time with her 4 sisters. She is excited to continue growing and learning in the field of dentistry.

Aylen
Dental Assistant

Aylen was born and raised in TN, but also lived part of her life in Mexico where she attended school and became fluent in Spanish. After graduating from high school, she attended dental assistant school  in 2023. She joined TCFD a few months after graduation.  Aylen really enjoys working at TCFD especially because it has been such a great learning environment for her. “My colleagues make me feel part of the team”. I am willing to continue learning and expand my dental knowledge. As a person who is bilingual, Aylen is happy to help translate for the Hispanic community and make them feel comfortable. One of the things she loves to do is spend time with family and friends.
